That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day. -Doctrine and Covenants 50:24
Inspired by the new group name the Young Women program, Gathering the Light is the first in a series that speaks to seeking, carrying, and sharing His light in the world. Rich in dramatic luminosity, and nostalgic warmth, it resonates with themes of faith, wonder, and the beauty found in quiet, sacred moments. It signifies a young woman who trusts divine guidance, draws strength from covenants, and actively seeks, gathers, and reflects God's light.
Jay Bryant Ward invites us to follow his subjects as they look heavenward and remember what matters most: the life, mission, and teachings of Jesus Christ. His images invite us to pause and consider a higher perspective.
